Summary
This project consisted of the construction of a new three storey mixed-use development, involving 2 phases; Phase 1: construction of three storey building, including completion of third floor apartment and shell and core finish to ground and first floor office / medical centre. Phase 2 involved the turn-key fit-out of Ground and First Floor office / medical centre
key issues
- Very restricted site, with construction bounded directly by 2 no. party walls and 2 no. roadways. Construction site was also proximate to a protected stone archway. Extensive planning and traffic management plans were required
- In-situ reinfored concrete frame, ceder cladding, zinc cladding, brickwork (including hanging brick soffits) and acrylic plaster finish
- Bespoke glazed internal partitions. Feature metal staircase with associated glass balustrades
- Installation of extensive Mechanical and Electrical packages, including one passenger lift
